Problem:
During the construction of 25m-long ground-cement columns, the existing pile foundation of the building experienced excessive technological subsidence.
Task:
Increasing the load-bearing capacity of the existing pile foundation in order to compensate for the resulting technological subsidence.
Method:
Deep Lifting (Column Injection)
Decision:
To solve this problem, the injection of a special deep composition of GeoResin was prejected and used. The method of column injection along the side surface of each pile of the column foundation was chosen according to a special scheme. Full control of the injection process was provided throughout the entire length from th very depth levels in the on-line mode. The high adhesion and speed of solidification of the materials used made it possible to perform the task of increasing the load-bearing capacity of the existing pile foundation in a high quality and in a short time.
