Description:
The house was built on an existing old foundation. After the construction of the walls and roof, the foundation subsided.
Task:
The house with a ground floor area of 186 m2 needed strengthening of the foundation soil and assumed good access for work. The ground of the place was soft, sandy silt. the Goal was to re-level the house as economically as possible because the cost of remounting work was not included in the initial construction estimate.
Decision:
GeoResin deep Lifting was the most appropriate way to provide support for the foundations and the entire house. GeoResin resins have also been used to trim various parts of the house. The correction took only seven days. The building was re-leveled with tolerances within 15 mm for budget savings so that the homeowner could return to building process as soon as possible.
Result:
Faced with alternatives of either demolishing the house or a lengthy renovation, the homeowner found that GeoResin is a cost-effective solution to eliminate damage from foundation subsidence.
